Where to sit at Selhurst Park
Holmesdale Road Stand
The two-tier home end behind the south goal and the centre of Palace's flags, drums and singing. Lower-tier central blocks are the strongest atmosphere seats.
Arthur Wait Stand
The long east touchline stand offers close side-on views beneath a low roof. Supporting pillars can obstruct some seats, so read restricted-view notes carefully.
Main Stand
The compact west side with dugouts and premium seating. Central blocks are close to play, but the older structure means row and pillar details matter more than at a modern bowl.
Whitehorse Lane corner
The small north end contains executive boxes. Away supporters sit in the adjacent corner of the Arthur Wait Stand, so verify the designation before buying in that part of the ground.

Background
Crystal Palace club history
Crystal Palace are south London's Eagles — owners of one of the Premier League's loudest compact grounds and, after their 2025 Wembley win over Manchester City, FA Cup winners for the first time in club history.

Selhurst Park capacity
The professional club was established in 1905 at the Crystal Palace exhibition grounds, while Palace now traces a direct sporting lineage to an earlier Crystal Palace side formed in 1861. After several temporary homes, the club moved to Selhurst Park in 1924 and first reached the top flight in 1969.
Palace became known for dramatic transitions: the colourful 'Team of the Eighties', an FA Cup final in 1990, third place in the top flight in 1990/91, then two administrations. A 2010 supporter-led rescue saved the club, and promotion through the 2013 play-offs began its longest uninterrupted spell at England's top level.
The breakthrough arrived at Wembley in May 2025. Eberechi Eze scored and Dean Henderson saved a penalty as Palace beat Manchester City 1-0 to win the FA Cup — the first major trophy in the club's history — before adding the Community Shield on penalties later that summer.
Honours. FA Cup (2025) · Community Shield (2025) · FA Cup finalists (1990, 2016) · Full Members' Cup (1991) · best top-flight finish: third in 1990/91.
The ground. Selhurst Park has been Palace's home since 1924. Four distinct, tight stands and the low roof over the Arthur Wait side amplify the crowd, while the Holmesdale Road Stand supplies the flags and noise that define Palace matchdays. Visiting fans occupy the Arthur Wait corner beside Whitehorse Lane.
Biggest rivalries
- Brighton & Hove Albion. Palace's defining rivalry, forged by repeated, ill-tempered meetings in the 1970s and kept alive despite the distance between south London and Sussex.
- Millwall. A traditional south London rivalry shaped by geography and generations of local support.
- Charlton Athletic. The nearest major-club derby, intensified during shared periods in the Football League and Palace's temporary use of The Valley.
Getting to Selhurst Park
London · 25,194 capacity · Opened 1924
Selhurst Park has hosted Crystal Palace since 1924. Its compact stands and close sightlines create one of London's most traditional top-flight settings.
Public transport: Selhurst, Norwood Junction and Thornton Heath stations are all within walking distance.
Away fans: Away fans sit in the corner of the Arthur Wait Stand beside the Whitehorse Lane end.

Seating at Selhurst Park
Selhurst Park's Holmesdale Road Stand is the two-tier home end and atmosphere pick. The Arthur Wait Stand runs along the east touchline beneath a low roof; the Main Stand sits opposite, and the small Whitehorse Lane end holds executive boxes.
Visiting supporters use the Arthur Wait corner beside Whitehorse Lane. Both long sides are older structures where supporting pillars can affect sightlines, so any restricted-view label is more important than row height alone.
