About Villa Park

Villa Park has been home to Aston Villa since 1897. Originally on the site of the Aston Lower Grounds. A Victorian sporting venue, the ground has been progressively redeveloped through the 20th and 21st centuries. Major expansions in 1995 (Trinity Road Stand) and 2001 (Holte End rebuild) brought capacity to today's 42,640. The ground is one of the most architecturally varied in English football, with each stand a different design from a different era.
