Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 29 May 2026
These terms govern your use of anyseats.net and every order placed through the Anyseats marketplace. The platform is operated by Anyseats Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales — a secondary-market venue where verified sellers list tickets to football matches, music performances and live events, and where buyers complete protected purchases backed by our 100% Buyer Guarantee. By browsing the site, registering an account or completing a checkout, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. If you do not accept them, you should not use the service.
We may update these terms from time to time — usually to reflect changes in law, payment-processing rules, ticket-issuer policies, or improvements we make to the marketplace itself. The most recent version is always published here, with the “last updated” date shown above. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Where a change is material — for example, a change to the refund policy or to dispute-resolution mechanics — we will surface a banner at the top of the site and, where possible, email registered users in advance.
1. Definitions
Throughout these terms, the following defined terms apply. The singular includes the plural and vice versa; references to a person include companies, partnerships and other legal entities; and headings are for navigation only and have no interpretive weight.
- “Anyseats”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Anyseats Ltd, the operator of the marketplace.
- “Buyer” or “you” means a person or entity placing an order through the site.
- “Seller” means a verified third party — a season-ticket holder, ticket broker, hospitality agent or licensed reseller — who lists inventory on the marketplace.
- “Ticket” means any admission instrument to an event listed on the site, including paper stubs, mobile-entry passes, membership cards, hospitality vouchers and electronic transfers.
- “Event” means the fixture, performance or activity to which a ticket grants entry, scheduled by the venue or competition organiser independently of Anyseats.
- “Order” means a confirmed purchase recorded on our system after payment authorisation and issuance of a confirmation email.
- “Buyer Guarantee” means the protection scheme described in section 7, under which we commit to deliver a valid ticket — or refund the order in full — for every confirmed purchase.
2. The marketplace
Anyseats is a secondary-market venue. We do not own, issue or set the face value of tickets listed on the site, and we are not connected to, sponsored by, or endorsed by any team, league, venue, performer, governing body or primary ticket office. All inventory originates with verified third-party sellers. Prices are determined by each seller in response to demand, scarcity and the remaining inventory pool for a given fixture — and may sit above or below the face value printed on the ticket itself. This is a defining feature of the secondary market and applies across the industry.
Our role is to authenticate listings, mediate the transaction, match buyer and seller identities where the issuer requires it, deliver the ticket to you on or before match-day, and stand behind the purchase with the Buyer Guarantee. Where a listing fails our verification — or where a seller fails to fulfil — we replace the ticket from inventory or refund you in full, at our cost.
3. Eligibility and account registration
To purchase through Anyseats you must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of your country of residence, and acting on your own behalf or with documented authority to bind a third party. Some events impose stricter age, residency or membership requirements set by the organiser — these are noted on the relevant listing and remain your responsibility to verify before booking.
You may register an account to track orders, save payment methods and receive match-day notifications. Registration requires an accurate full name, postal address, contact telephone number and a working email address. You agree to keep these details current — incorrect or out-of-date contact information is the single most common cause of failed ticket delivery, and Anyseats is not liable for losses arising from details you have failed to maintain.
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for every action taken under your account. If you suspect unauthorised use, notify us immediately at [email protected]. We reserve the right to suspend or close any account where we detect fraudulent activity, repeat chargebacks, attempts to circumvent regional sale restrictions, or other breaches of these terms.
4. Placing an order
An order is placed when you complete checkout — selecting a listing, entering delivery details and authorising payment through one of our supported payment providers. Submitting an order is an offer to purchase, not a concluded contract; a contract is formed only when we issue a written confirmation email containing your order reference, the event details and the payment summary. Until that confirmation is sent, we may decline the order for any reason permitted by law, including suspected fraud, payment-authorisation failure, exhausted inventory, or pricing errors caused by site malfunction.
We guarantee that any two tickets purchased on the same order will be seated together, unless the listing is explicitly tagged as “single seats” or “best available — not adjacent”. Orders for three or more tickets will be grouped as closely as inventory allows — typically in adjacent pairs within the same block and row. Where adjacency cannot be honoured for an order of two and we have not flagged it in advance, the Buyer Guarantee covers the discrepancy at our cost.
For security on high-value orders, or where the payment method shows signals associated with chargeback risk, we may request supporting documents before confirmation — usually a photograph of government-issued ID and a partial view of the payment card. Documents are reviewed only for the purpose of approving the order and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Pricing, fees and currency
The price displayed at checkout is the price charged. We do not introduce surprise fees at the payment step — service fees, delivery costs and applicable taxes are itemised before you authorise payment. Prices on the site may be presented in your local currency for convenience, but the final settlement currency is GBP unless explicitly stated otherwise. Where your card provider converts the GBP amount into another currency, the conversion rate and any associated fees are set by the provider, not by Anyseats.
Because the secondary market moves on a per-fixture basis, the price of a listing may change between the moment you add it to your selection and the moment you complete checkout — particularly for high-demand fixtures. If a price has changed materially, we will surface the new amount before the payment step rather than charging silently. Cart sessions expire after a period of inactivity; on resumption you will see live prices for the current state of the market.
Anyseats reserves the right to correct manifest pricing errors — for example, an obvious typographical error or a feed glitch that produces a price an order of magnitude away from market. In that case we will contact you to offer either cancellation with a full refund or completion at the corrected price, at your option.
6. Payment methods
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay and — for orders above a published threshold — bank transfer arranged with our accounts team. Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers; we do not store full card numbers on our systems. For higher-risk transactions, we may also accept manual transfer and release tickets only after funds have cleared.
If a payment is declined, the order will not be confirmed and no contract is formed. You may retry with a different payment method or contact us for assistance. Repeated declined attempts on the same listing may result in a temporary hold on the account while our risk team reviews.
7. The 100% Buyer Guarantee
Every confirmed order is covered by the Anyseats Buyer Guarantee. The guarantee promises three things, each of which we stand behind at our own cost:
- Authenticity.Every ticket is sourced through a verified channel and checked against the issuer's records prior to delivery. We do not list speculative inventory.
- On-time delivery. Tickets are delivered by match-day at the latest, with the majority arriving five days in advance. Where delivery is unavoidably late through our fault, we cover any reasonable costs you incur as a direct result.
- Valid entry. If a ticket purchased through us is rejected at the gate due to a problem with the ticket itself, you receive a full refund of the order — including delivery fees — and where applicable, reimbursement of equivalent replacement tickets purchased on the day, on production of evidence (a photograph of the replacement ticket and receipt).
The guarantee does not extend to denials of entry caused by the buyer's own conduct — including breach of stadium rules, intoxication, late arrival after gates close, refusal to comply with identity checks where required, or sitting in a section reserved for opposing supporters and attracting steward intervention as a result.
8. Delivery
Modern ticket inventory is increasingly delivered electronically — mobile transfer, account-based tickets, QR codes and PDF passes. Where the issuer supports it, your tickets will arrive in your inbox or be transferred to your ticketing app. For events where physical media is still in use — paper stubs, plastic membership cards or hospitality vouchers — we use tracked courier delivery, with tracking details emailed once the consignment is in transit.
A small subset of events are fulfilled by box-office collection on the day. In those cases you will receive collection instructions, the collection address and the documents required (typically government-issued ID matching the booking name) no later than 72 hours before kick-off. Failure to bring the requested documents to box-office collection is not covered by the Buyer Guarantee.
Where the listing involves a membership card — used to grant entry under a season-ticket holder's identity — you agree to return the card to the supplier within 48 hours of the event, using the pre-paid return envelope supplied. Membership cards remain the property of the originating seller. For digital membership transfers, you agree to delete the credential from your wallet after the event. Failure to return or delete may result in a recovery charge consistent with the seller's published policy, communicated to you at the point of sale.
The name printed on a ticket may differ from the name on your order — this is normal in the secondary market and does not affect the validity of the ticket. Where the issuer requires identity matching at the gate, we manage the matching with the seller in advance; you will be told what is required and when.
9. Cancellations, postponements and changes by the organiser
Once an order is confirmed it cannot be cancelled by the buyer at will. This reflects the distance-selling exemption for leisure and event services under applicable consumer law — the underlying ticket is allocated to your booking the moment we confirm, and a change of mind does not entitle you to a refund. Order amendments — for example, to fix a name spelling — can be requested up to the point of fulfilment and will be honoured where the issuer permits.
Event organisers may reschedule, relocate or change the kick-off time of a fixture without notice. Where a match is postponed and rescheduled, your ticket remains valid for the new date — no refund is issued, and you are responsible for adjusting any travel or accommodation arrangements. Where a venue change is announced, the same applies; we will not be liable for the cost difference between the original and the new venue.
Where a match is cancelled outright with no replacement fixture scheduled, you receive a full refund of the ticket price within 14 days, paid to the original payment method. Service fees are retained at our discretion where significant fulfilment work has already been performed.
Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failure to perform where the failure is caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control — including war, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, severe weather, public-health emergency, regulatory action by a competition organiser, or non-delivery of upstream inventory by a third-party seller for reasons unrelated to fraud. Our liability under force majeure is limited to refund of amounts paid for the affected order.
10. Buyer conduct and use restrictions
You agree to use Anyseats only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. In particular you agree not to:
- Use the site or any ticket purchased through it for commercial resale without our prior written agreement.
- Submit false personal information, use stolen payment methods, or attempt to evade fraud checks.
- Scrape, index or extract listings programmatically without a written API agreement in place.
- Interfere with the operation of the site — including denial-of-service attempts, abuse of promotional codes, or exploitation of pricing errors.
- Sit in a section of the stadium reserved for opposing supporters in a manner likely to provoke steward intervention or compromise public safety. We reserve the right to decline orders to home sections where the buyer's declared residency or supporter affiliation indicates risk, and we accept no liability for incidents arising from a deliberate breach of segregation rules.
11. Restricted territories
The site is operated from the United Kingdom and is intended for users in jurisdictions where secondary-market ticket sales are lawful. Some events — notably certain UK domestic football fixtures under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 — are subject to statutory anti-touting provisions. We reserve the right to decline orders from UK residents for fixtures where local law prohibits secondary sale to a particular cohort of buyer. Where an order is declined for legal reasons, you receive a full refund within 14 days.
If you access the site from a country where its content is restricted under local law, you do so on your own initiative and at your own risk.
12. Intellectual property
The Anyseats name, logo, site design, written content, photography, fixture data, seating maps and venue guides are owned by Anyseats Ltd or licensed to us by third parties. Nothing on the site grants you any licence to copy, redistribute, mirror, translate or commercially exploit our content, except for the personal, non-commercial reproduction of pages necessary for your own purchase records.
Third-party trademarks — including club crests, league logos, venue marks and competition emblems — appear on the site for the sole purpose of identifying the relevant fixture. Their appearance does not imply endorsement of Anyseats by the trademark owner.
13. Third-party content and links
The site may include links to external resources — official club sites, fixture aggregators, travel partners, transport-information services. These are provided for convenience; we do not control the destination content and accept no liability for its accuracy or availability. You remain responsible for independently verifying any information that materially affects your travel or attendance plans, including the official kick-off time published by the home club.
14. Coupons and credits
We may issue voucher codes — through promotional campaigns, partner referrals, or as gestures of goodwill following a service issue. Vouchers are single-use, personal to the recipient, non-transferable, and carry an expiry date stated at issuance. Where no expiry date is stated the voucher will lapse 24 months after issue. A voucher applied to an order more expensive than its face value requires payment of the balance; a voucher applied to a cheaper order is exhausted in full and no cash difference is refunded.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and the marketplace are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or malicious code, although we maintain commercially reasonable measures to keep it so. We do not warrant the accuracy of fixture data, kick-off times, venue information or third-party content, beyond a duty to correct material errors brought to our attention.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — in particular liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
16. Limitation of liability
Our maximum aggregate liability to you in respect of any order is limited to the total amount paid by you for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including loss of profit, loss of business opportunity, loss of enjoyment, or wasted expenditure on travel, accommodation or hospitality bought separately from the ticket itself — except where required by mandatory consumer-protection law.
You agree to attend the venue at your own risk. We are not liable for injury, loss or damage sustained on the journey to or from the event, within the venue precinct, or as a result of conduct by other supporters, stewards or local authorities. We are not liable for the rescheduling of associated travel arrangements following an organiser-driven change to the event.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Anyseats, its officers, employees, agents and suppliers harmless against claims, costs and damages — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of applicable law in connection with an order.
18. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site, or any particular order, where we have reasonable grounds to believe these terms have been breached, where fraud is suspected, or where continued service would expose us or our suppliers to legal or operational risk. On termination you must cease using the site; outstanding obligations on either side survive termination, including pending refunds and the indemnity above.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute, save that we may bring proceedings against you in the courts of the country in which you are resident where consumer-protection law so requires. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
We aim to resolve complaints informally wherever possible. If you have an issue, email [email protected]with the relevant order ID and we'll come back to you as soon as we can. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
20. Notices and contact
Notices to Anyseats should be sent to [email protected] or by post to Anyseats Ltd, [Company address — to be confirmed]. Notices to you will be sent to the email address on your account; an email notice is deemed received 24 hours after sending unless we receive a delivery-failure message.
For general enquiries: [email protected] or +44 20 0000 0000. For match-day support our live chat and WhatsApp channels are staffed from doors-open through full-time on every fixture on our covered competitions.
21. Seller obligations
Sellers listing on Anyseats are bound by a separate seller agreement covering authentication, fulfilment timing, name-match accuracy, accurate seat descriptions and conduct on the platform. For the avoidance of doubt, the buyer enters a contract with Anyseats— not with the underlying seller — and our obligations to the buyer under these terms are not contingent on the seller's performance. Where a seller fails to fulfil, we replace the inventory or refund the order at our cost, and recover from the seller separately under the seller agreement. The buyer is not party to that recovery and has no role in chasing the seller directly.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove any seller from the platform for breach of the seller agreement, including fraudulent listings, repeated late delivery, persistent name-match failures or any conduct that brings the marketplace into disrepute. Buyers do not bear the consequences of such removals on orders already placed — affected orders are refulfilled or refunded in full.
22. Group bookings and trade orders
Group bookings — orders of three or more tickets — are subject to the seating-adjacency rules in section 4 and may be split across two adjacent rows or pairs at the seller's discretion where a single continuous row is not available. For groups of ten or more we recommend the trade channel (Anyseats for travel agents and group organisers), which offers dedicated account management, advance hold capability and bulk-fulfilment logistics. Standard marketplace orders for larger groups are best-effort under the public terms set out here.
23. Hospitality and premium inventory
Listings tagged as hospitality, executive boxes, on-pitch experiences or VIP packages may be subject to additional terms set by the venue or the hospitality desk — typically covering dress code, arrival time, food-and-drink inclusions, guest-name registration deadlines and conduct inside the hospitality area. These terms are surfaced at the point of sale and form part of your purchase contract on completion. Failure to comply with venue-imposed hospitality terms may result in revocation of access at the door, in which case the Buyer Guarantee does not apply.
24. Identity matching at the gate
A growing share of clubs operate verified ticketing — the named ticket holder must present matching photo ID at the gate alongside the credential. Where the listing requires identity matching, we manage the match with the seller in advance: you provide the lead-guest name (and where requested, additional attendee names), and the seller updates the issuing club's systems before fulfilment. The buyer is responsible for providing accurate names at the point of sale and for bringing matching photo ID to the gate. Mismatched ID at the gate that prevents entry — due to inaccurate names provided at booking, or to absent ID — is not covered by the Buyer Guarantee.
25. Accessibility seating
Accessibility seating — wheelchair bays, ambulant disabled seating, sensory rooms — is governed by issuer-specific rules and typically requires a registered access need with the home club. Where the marketplace has supply of accessibility seating, the listing makes this explicit and we coordinate the necessary registration with the seller and club in advance. Buyers booking accessibility seats must respond to verification messages from our team within the timeframe stated in the order confirmation; unresponsive bookings may be cancelled and refunded if the access registration cannot complete in time.
26. Miscellaneous
These terms — together with the Privacy Policy and any order confirmation — constitute the entire agreement between you and Anyseats in respect of the marketplace, and supersede any prior understanding, written or oral. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent required to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent. No failure or delay in enforcing a right under these terms operates as a waiver of that right. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our prior written consent; we may assign ours on notice to you.
Nothing in these terms is intended to confer rights on any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, save where expressly stated. Headings used throughout this document are for navigation only and have no interpretive weight. References to statutes are to the statute as amended or replaced from time to time. Where these terms are translated into a language other than English, the English version prevails in the event of conflict.
