The ground. The Emirates Stadium opened in 2006 with a capacity of 60,704 — one of the largest club grounds in England — a few hundred metres from old Highbury. The single-tier North Bank and Clock End behind the goals carry the historic stand names; the steep bowl keeps the crowd close and the acoustics sharp on European nights.
