Tickets usually arrive 24-72 hours before the event and are guaranteed before it begins. Some issuers release tickets closer to the start time. Most tickets are delivered electronically. Physical tickets are sent by tracked courier or arranged for clearly identified collection.

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your ticket stays valid for the new date. Ties through the quarter-finals go straight to penalties when level after 90 minutes. Extra time is played if the aggregate score is level after the second leg of a semi-final, and if the final is level after 90 minutes; penalties follow if needed.

A UEFA Conference League play-off place, subject to eligibility and qualification through other competitions. A winner that has already qualified for a higher UEFA competition does not take both places; the remaining place is reallocated under the qualification rules.

All 92 Premier League and EFL clubs enter. Non-league clubs can enter the FA Cup, but not the Carabao Cup. Entry rounds depend on the club's division and European commitments.
