Selhurst Park Tickets

Home of Crystal Palace since 1924

An all-seater Premier League ground in south London, and at one end a building site. Demolition works for the Main Stand rebuild began in June 2026, and the approved design is a three-tier stand of about 13,500 seats, which the club expects to take the ground to roughly 34,000. The published timetable is completion by early 2029. 25,194 is the last capacity published in the Premier League Handbook, for 2025/26 — no reduced figure for the construction period has been published, and the club's stated intention is to keep playing at Selhurst throughout. Treat the seating map for this season as subject to the build.

History

About Selhurst Park

Selhurst Park opened on 30 August 1924 and has been Crystal Palace's home ever since. Archibald Leitch designed the original ground, and his Main Stand is the oldest structure on the site. The record crowd is 51,482, set in 1979 when Palace beat Burnley 2-0 to clinch the Second Division title — on terraces that no longer exist, since the ground was converted to all-seater in stages between 1981 and 1993. Two other London clubs have called it home: Charlton Athletic ground-shared from 1985 to 1991, and Wimbledon from 1991 until 2003. It also staged two matches at the 1948 London Olympics.

Seating layout

Selhurst Park seating plan & capacity

Four stands of very different ages, which makes the seat you pick matter more here than at a modern bowl: the Holmesdale is double-tiered and steep, the Main Stand is the low 1924 original, and Whitehorse Lane is the smallest. Away fans sit in the Arthur Wait corner beside Whitehorse Lane, so a home supporter buying near that corner will be alongside the visiting section. The Main Stand rebuild is live, so check the seat map on the listing rather than assuming last season's layout.

  • Holmesdale Road Stand

8,329 seats across two tiers, built in 1994, behind the goal at the Holmesdale Road end.

  • Arthur Wait Stand

9,574 seats, opened in 1969 and the largest stand at Selhurst. Away supporters are housed in the corner nearest Whitehorse Lane, an allocation Football Ground Guide puts at just under 3,000.

  • Main Stand

5,460 seats plus 63 press positions in the original 1924 Leitch stand, now being replaced by a three-tier structure of about 13,500 seats.

  • Whitehorse Lane Stand

2,219 seats plus 480 executive box seats behind the opposite goal, redeveloped in the early 1980s. The smallest stand, and the one the away corner sits beside.

On match-day

Match-day at Selhurst Park

Selhurst Park is a 1920s ground that has been added to rather than rebuilt, so concourses are tighter than at a modern stadium and the walk in from all three stations runs through residential streets. Crystal Palace froze season ticket prices for 2026/27 at £600 for the cheapest adult seat and £770 for the dearest, one of five Premier League clubs to hold prices. The club says all season tickets are sold out, which is why the resale market is the way in. Those figures come from the club's own announcement, and every club's are in our season ticket price guide. What nobody has published is a seating layout for the construction period — when the club issues one, this page will carry it.
