About
Football in London
London is the only city in the world to host six current top-flight football clubs simultaneously: Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Fulham. Add Brentford in the Premier League, Queens Park Rangers and Millwall in the Championship, and the city's combined matchday capacity exceeds 400,000 across roughly 15 senior grounds. Wembley Stadium. The second-largest football ground in Europe at 90,000, hosts the FA Cup final, the EFL Cup final, the Community Shield, and England senior team home fixtures. The North London derby (Arsenal vs Tottenham), the West London derby (Chelsea vs Fulham), and the cross-river derby (Chelsea vs West Ham) are matchday highlights of the Premier League calendar. London's transport network is among the densest in Europe. Every major football ground sits within 10 minutes of a Tube, National Rail or Overground station, making weekend matchday travel between grounds a credible itinerary for visiting fans.

London tickets 2026/27
The music venues, from the Proms to arena residencies
The Royal Albert Hall (opened 1871, around 5,200 seats) has staged the BBC Proms every summer since 1941 and takes everything from orchestras to one-off rock shows. The O2 in Greenwich is London's biggest indoor venue at around 20,000 — the standard stop for arena tours, where a big artist often plays a run of nights rather than one.
Outdoor scale belongs to the stadiums: Wembley holds about 90,000 for concerts, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and London Stadium both take summer shows between football seasons. Below that sit the mid-size rooms touring acts fill year-round — OVO Arena Wembley, Alexandra Palace and the Grade II-listed O2 Academy Brixton. Whatever from these venues has tickets on sale today appears in the feed at the top of this page.
Sport in London is not only football
The NFL has played regular-season games in London every year since 2007, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was built for them: a separate artificial pitch slides in beneath the grass. Wimbledon runs its two-week Grand Slam in SW19 every June and July, and England rugby internationals fill Twickenham, the largest dedicated rugby stadium in the world at about 82,000.
At club level, Saracens play Premiership rugby at StoneX Stadium in north London, and the London Lions, the capital's professional basketball club, play at the Copper Box Arena in the Olympic Park. When these events carry resale inventory they surface in the feed like everything else — we list what has tickets on sale, not what merely exists.
What we list today — and what we don't
anyseats lists football and live music in London today. The West End's roughly forty theatres, and attractions like the London Eye and Tower Bridge, are part of most London visits — but we don't sell theatre or attraction tickets yet, and we'd rather say so than pretend otherwise. When a category is added, its events appear in the city feed automatically.
How London demand behaves
Derbies and the fixtures with the biggest away followings sell first — North London derby tickets rarely last, and an O2 residency's Friday and Saturday nights usually go before its midweek dates. Early-season league fixtures and weeknight concerts are usually the cheaper entry points. Every price shown on anyseats includes fees: the number on the listing is the number you pay.
Local rivalries
London derbies
North London Derby
Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur, among the most-watched derbies in world football, contested twice each Premier League season plus periodic cup ties.
West London Derby
Chelsea vs Fulham. Separated by less than two miles along the King's Road. Local pubs, packed Tube trains, end-to-end matchday atmosphere.
Cross-River Derby
Chelsea vs West Ham. Historic rivalry separating West London from the East End. Traditionally one of the more physical Premier League fixtures.
South London Derby
Crystal Palace vs Millwall. When both sides have been in the same division. Crystal Palace's local rivalry runs deeper with Brighton.
Match-day tips
On a London match-day
London matchday queues at security can run 30-45 minutes pre-kick-off. Arrive 75-90 minutes early for high-demand fixtures, most London grounds enforce a strict A4 bag policy and require photo ID for tickets sold on the secondary market. Pre-match pubs cluster within 5-10 minutes of every ground; Arsenal's Tollington and the Twelve Pins, Chelsea's Lillie Langtry, Tottenham's The Bricklayers Arms, and Crystal Palace's Glaziers Arms are among the most-frequented. Concessions are universally cashless. Allow 30-45 minutes for the crowd to clear after the final whistle before joining Tube queues.
When to visit
London football season
Premier League season runs August through May. London's most atmospheric matchday months are October-March. Colder weather, floodlit kick-offs, and condensed fixture lists with European nights mid-week. Cup-final Saturdays in May draw additional traffic to Wembley.
