Getting to Allianz Arena
Munich · 75,024 capacity · Opened 2005
The Allianz Arena opened in 2005 for Bayern Munich. The exterior is wrapped in inflated ETFE plastic panels that change colour — red for Bayern, blue for 1860 Munich (former tenants), white for Germany internationals.
Full Allianz Arena guide — seating plan, getting there, and every fixture at the ground.
Seating at Allianz Arena
The Allianz Arena runs three tiers around a closed bowl. Bayern's Südkurve (south end, lower tier) is the standing/atmosphere heart on domestic matchdays; central middle-tier seats along the sidelines are the premium band.
Away fans are housed in the upper north-east corner. Upper-tier corners are the best-value seats; the middle tier balances price and view best.
