About
Football in Porto
Porto's football is FC Porto, founded on 28 September 1893 and champions of Portugal 31 times, the latest in 2025-26. They play at the Estádio do Dragão, an all-seater ground of 50,033 designed by Manuel Salgado and opened on 16 November 2003 with a friendly against Barcelona. It staged the opening match of Euro 2004, Portugal against Greece, as well as the 2019 UEFA Nations League Finals and the 2021 Champions League final. FC Porto have won the European Cup twice, in 1987 and 2004, and the UEFA Cup or Europa League in 2003 and 2011. The Dragão is the end of Metro do Porto's line A, so the ground is a single ride from Trindade, Bolhão and Casa da Música. Boavista, the other long-time Porto club and league champions in 2000-01, are not in the 2026-27 Primeira Liga, which has 18 clubs and runs from 7 August 2026 to 16 May 2027. Away from football, the Super Bock Arena, also known as the Pavilhão Rosa Mota, takes touring shows of about 8,000, and Casa da Música is the city's dedicated concert hall. Portugal keeps the same clock as the UK.

Football in Porto: FC Porto and the Dragão
FC Porto are the only Porto club in the 2026-27 Primeira Liga, and they hold the title: the 2025-26 championship was their 31st. Their home is the Estádio do Dragão, which has 50,033 seats and opened in 2003 for Euro 2004. The big home fixtures are against Benfica and Sporting CP, the other two of the Big Three, and in the Champions League.
Boavista, who won the Primeira Liga in 2000-01 and play at the Estádio do Bessa, finished last in 2024-25 and were relegated. They are not in this season's league, so we do not list Boavista home matches.
The music venues
The Super Bock Arena, opened in 1954 as the Pavilhão dos Desportos, renamed for the marathon champion Rosa Mota in 1991 and given its present name in a 2018 agreement with the brewer, is Porto's indoor arena. It was renovated and reopened in 2019, and it is listed under both names. Casa da Música in Boavista, with its main Suggia Hall, is the city's dedicated concert hall.
Primavera Sound Porto, held at the Parque da Cidade, is scheduled for 10 to 13 June 2027.
A concert hall built for a Capital of Culture
Casa da Música was built to mark Porto's year as European Capital of Culture in 2001, and opened in 2005. Rem Koolhaas and OMA designed it. Its Suggia Hall is usually cited as 1,238 seats, other sources say 1,300, and a flat-floor second room holds about 270 seated or 650 standing.
If a Casa da Música date is what you are after, check the hall's own box office first.
What we list today — and what we don't
Anyseats lists FC Porto home and away matches when sellers list them, among them Napoli on 4 November 2026 and Sporting CP on 29 November 2026 at the Estádio do Dragão, and concerts at the Pavilhão Rosa Mota and the Super Bock Arena, among them Bryan Adams on 17 and 18 November 2026 and Simple Minds on 5 April 2027. Every price shown includes fees: the number you see is the number you pay.
We do not sell Casa da Música subscriptions or Primavera Sound passes, and we'd rather say so than pretend otherwise.
Local rivalries
Porto derbies
O Clássico (FC Porto v Benfica)
Portugal's biggest fixture, first played on 28 April 1912 as an exhibition game that Benfica won 8-2. We do not call it a derby because the clubs are in different cities. Benfica v FC Porto at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon is currently listed for 28 February 2027.
FC Porto v Sporting CP
The other half of the Big Three. FC Porto v Sporting CP at the Estádio do Dragão is currently listed for 29 November 2026, with a confirmed 20:30 kick-off, and the return at the Estádio José Alvalade for 11 April 2027.
Match-day tips
On a Porto match-day
Mainland Portugal uses Western European Time, which is GMT in winter and one hour ahead in summer, the same as the UK, and the clocks change on the same dates. A 20:30 kick-off in Porto is 20:30 in London. Many fixtures show without a confirmed time until it is set; the event page updates once a kick-off is confirmed. Tickets are delivered by the seller before the event; your order page shows how and when.
When to visit

Outside football, Primavera Sound Porto is scheduled for 10 to 13 June 2027 at the Parque da Cidade, and the indoor arena calendar runs through the year.
