History
About Estádio do Dragão
Designed by Manuel Salgado and built by Somague, the stadium replaced the Estádio das Antas and opened on 16 November 2003 with a friendly against Barcelona. Turf problems meant Porto kept playing at the Antas until February 2004. It hosted five matches at Euro 2004, including the opening game in which Greece beat Portugal 2–1. It later staged the 2019 UEFA Nations League final and the 2021 Champions League final, moved from Istanbul.
