Stade du Moustoir opened in 1959 and has been home to FC Lorient throughout the club's history. The ground was renamed Stade Yves-Allainmat in 1985 in honour of the former mayor of Lorient, before reverting to its original name in 2010. Successive refurbishments have lifted capacity to approximately 16,000. The compact ground sits a short walk from Lorient city centre and is one of the smaller top-flight French stadiums.
