World Cup 2030 · Final four
World Cup 2030 Semi-final Tickets.
Two semi-finals decide which nations play for the centenary World Cup. This is the smallest stage with a choice of matches: two nights, four teams and demand that can shift dramatically as each quarter-final finishes.
Current official status
The two-match semi-final stage is confirmed. Dates and venue assignments are not; stadiums discussed in FIFA’s bid report remain proposals until the official schedule is issued.

Competition format
One match from the World Cup final
The bracket predetermines which quarter-final winners meet. Each semi-final must produce one finalist and one team for the third-place play-off.
- 01
Four quarter-final winners enter two separate semi-final branches.
- 02
Each semi-final is a single match at an assigned tournament stadium.
- 03
Extra time and penalties settle a level score if required.
- 04
Winners reach the final; losing teams move to the third-place match.
The venue picture
Eight bid venues were presented for semi-finals or higher
The 2024 FIFA evaluation lists final-capable proposals in Madrid, Barcelona and Casablanca, plus semi-final-capable proposals in Lisbon, Madrid, Rabat, Seville and Tangier. This is a capability assessment—not confirmation that any of them will host a semi-final.
That distinction matters for early travel content. Until FIFA assigns the matches, no hotel, flight or ticket should be sold on the promise of a specific semi-final city.
- Final-capable proposals: Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, Camp Nou and Grand Stade Hassan II.
- Additional semi-final-capable proposals: Estádio da Luz, Metropolitano, Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah, La Cartuja and Grand Stade de Tanger.
- Final gross capacities and operational seating plans can differ from bid figures.
Buying moment
Before or after the quarter-final whistle
A semi-final match slot can be bought without knowing the teams. That is useful for neutral supporters who value the occasion and city. Team followers gain certainty only when their quarter-final ends, which can trigger an immediate demand surge.
The safest way to describe an unresolved listing is by match number and bracket path. A national team should appear as confirmed only when the official result puts it in that semi-final.
Following the winner
Do not assume the semi-final city is close to the final
The final venue has not been selected, and the semi-final assignments are also pending. Even within the main host region, a winning team could need to move between countries before 21 July.
Supporters planning both rounds should prioritize flexible transport and refundable accommodation. Build the final leg only after FIFA confirms the complete schedule, then leave margin for a late semi-final finish.
Ticket plan
Semi-final ticket decision guide
At this stage, certainty has a price: early buyers know the occasion; late buyers know the teams. Every listing should make that difference obvious.
- 01
Pick a branch
Use the official bracket path to understand which quarter-finals feed each semi-final.
- 02
Confirm team status
Check whether team names are qualified, projected or part of a conditional product.
- 03
Inspect delivery terms
Late qualification can mean late ticket fulfillment. Review the stated delivery method and timing.
- 04
Keep final plans separate
A semi-final ticket does not include the final, and the two events may require substantial onward travel.
