2030 ticket availability
This page will publish live listings only when the event belongs to the 2030 tournament and its provider mapping is verified. Existing 2026 World Cup tickets are never relabeled as 2030 inventory.
Competition format
The finalists will have survived seven previous matches: three in the group stage, then the Round of 32, Round of 16, quarter-final and semi-final. The eighth match decides the world champion.
The two semi-final winners qualify for the final.
The match is scheduled for Sunday 21 July 2030 in FIFA’s intended calendar.
If level after regulation, the champion is decided under FIFA’s knockout procedures, including extra time and penalties if required.
The winner becomes the centenary world champion; the other nation finishes as runner-up.
Official bid-report watchlist
These are FIFA-evaluated bid proposals, not confirmed match assignments. Capacities are gross figures submitted for evaluation and may not equal the final number of tickets available.
Proposed · Madrid, Spain
Proposed in the 2024 bid evaluation as eligible for the opening match or final. Capacity is the bid-book gross figure, not a final tournament seating plan.
Proposed · Barcelona, Spain
Proposed as eligible for the opening match or final. The bid figure reflects the redevelopment plan and may differ from final sellable capacity.
Proposed · Casablanca, Morocco
Proposed as eligible for the opening match or final. FIFA has not selected the final venue, and the stadium project remains subject to delivery and approval.
Final venue watch
FIFA’s bid evaluation identifies three stadiums proposed as capable of hosting the opening match or final. Those proposals are the best official venue evidence available, but they are not a final decision. Any page naming one city as the confirmed host is getting ahead of FIFA.
The bid-book capacities are gross planning figures. Tournament overlay, media areas, hospitality, security separation and accessibility allocations will affect the eventual number of sellable seats.
Ticket timing
The first meaningful milestone is FIFA’s official sales announcement. The second is confirmation of the final stadium and seating map. The third is the tournament draw, which reveals potential team routes. The fourth is the semi-finals, when the matchup becomes certain and demand reacts instantly.
Earlier access offers more time to plan but less team certainty. Waiting for named finalists gives maximum sporting certainty and minimum planning time. No seller can guarantee which teams will reach the final before the semi-finals are complete.
Seat language
Official ticket categories and the final seating map have not been announced. Generic terms such as premium, lower tier or behind the goal should be checked against the eventual stadium plan and the exact listing description.
For pairs or groups, confirm whether seats are guaranteed together. Also review delivery timing, mobile-ticket requirements and any named-attendee or transfer restrictions that FIFA publishes for 2030.
Travel planning
The three proposed cities sit in two countries and on two continents. Madrid, Barcelona and Casablanca require entirely different flight, rail, border and accommodation strategies. A speculative non-refundable booking in the wrong city can erase any perceived saving.
When the venue is confirmed, prioritize accommodation with a reliable late-night route from the stadium. The match can run through extra time, penalties, the trophy ceremony and extended crowd-control operations.
Protect the purchase
A World Cup final creates urgency, high prices and misleading offers. Slow the decision down long enough to verify the event identity and the commercial terms.
Ticket plan
No mapped final inventory is live today. The right preparation is a decision framework—not a speculative purchase presented as certainty.
Wait for the selected stadium, kick-off time, official sales programme and final seating information.
Buy a fixed final ticket for the event itself, or wait until the semi-finals if a specific finalist is essential.
Tournament year, final label, match number, date, stadium, seat, quantity, currency and delivery terms must align.
Use changeable bookings and allow for a late finish, ceremony, crowd egress and next-day disruption.
