History
About Stade CMA CGM Océane
The first stone was laid on 11 October 2010 and the stadium was built in about 22 months, replacing Le Havre’s old ground. It opened on 12 July 2012 with a friendly between Le Havre AC and Lille OSC. On 15 August 2012 it staged France’s 0–0 draw with Uruguay, Didier Deschamps’ first match as national coach. It hosted seven matches of the 2019 Women’s World Cup, and Le Havre AC played their first Ligue 1 match there on 20 August 2023. Known as Stade Océane from 2012, it took the name Stade CMA CGM Océane under a naming deal from 18 June 2026.
