History
About Stade Francis-Le Blé
The ground opened in the early 1920s as the Stade de l’Armoricaine. In 1982 the city acquired it, the Foucauld stand was built and capacity was increased, and it was renamed after Francis Le Blé, the former mayor of Brest who died that year. It was renovated for Ligue 1 in 2010: the Pen Huel stand was demolished and replaced by the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa stand, the Foucauld stand was refurbished and a new stand was built opposite. The Route de Quimper stand was rebuilt in 2022. A new stadium for the club, Arkéa Park, was approved in December 2024.
