History
About Stade de la Meinau
RC Strasbourg have played at the Meinau since 1914, on a site previously known as the Haemmerlé Garten. The ground was rebuilt for Euro 1984 at a cost of about FRF 117–120 million. A redevelopment led by the Eurométropole, with Populous as architect, rebuilt the north, west and south stands and extended the south stand, with completion planned for summer 2026. The renovated south stand, holding about 12,000, opened in August 2025.
