History

About St Mirren Park

St Mirren sold their old ground at Love Street to Tesco in April 2007 for £15 million, which paid for a new stadium less than a mile away on Greenhill Road in Ferguslie Park. Barr Construction designed and built it for about £8 million; work began on 7 January 2008 and it opened on 31 January 2009 with a 1–1 draw against Kilmarnock watched by 7,542. It has carried sponsor names including Paisley 2021 Stadium, The Simple Digital Arena and The SMISA Stadium, and became The Marbill Coaches Stadium under a three-year deal in July 2026.
