History
About RAMS Park
After decades of failed plans for a new ground, a stadium on the Seyrantepe hill in the north of Istanbul was tendered through the state housing agency TOKİ in exchange for the site of the old Ali Sami Yen Stadium. Construction began on 13 December 2007, and the stadium opened on 15 January 2011 with a match against Ajax, three days after the last official game at the old ground. It was called Türk Telekom Arena, later Türk Telekom Stadium, until 2021, then Nef Stadium, and has been RAMS Park since July 2023. Extra suites were added in 2012 and 2023, and new video screens, LED lighting and a rebuilt press stand followed in 2025–26.
