History
About MCH Arena
Messecenter Herning announced plans for a stadium beside its exhibition centre in 2000, and building began on 2 April 2003. It opened on 27 March 2004 with a 6–0 Superliga win over Akademisk Boldklub in front of 11,083 spectators, after FC Midtjylland had spent the autumn of 2003 at Ikast Stadium. Scandinavian Airlines held the naming rights as SAS Arena from 2004 to 2009, after which it became MCH Arena. An extension behind the east stand, built from 2022 and opened for spring 2024, added a VIP lounge and 11 skyboxes.
