History

About Coliseum

Getafe played their first match at the Coliseum on 30 August 1998, losing 1–0 to Talavera in Segunda División B. It replaced the Estadio Municipal de Las Margaritas, demolished in 1996. It was named after the former Spain international Alfonso Pérez until October 2023, when the club and the town council dropped his name. A redevelopment that adds a roof over all stands began on 9 June 2025, with Getafe playing on at the ground during the works.
