History
About Alphamega Stadium
AEL and Aris first planned their own stadium on land they had been given, and Apollon joined the project after the 2012–13 financial crisis. After the European Commission objected to the original arrangement, the Cyprus Sports Organisation took over financing and ownership and handed management to the three clubs. Construction began on 28 January 2019, and the stadium was inaugurated on 25 November 2022. The first match was Apollon’s 1–0 win over Doxa Katokopias on 15 December 2022.
