About Tennis Tickets

About Tennis on Anyseats

Professional tennis is the most globalised single-sport calendar in the world: four Grand Slams (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, US Open), nine ATP Masters 1000 events, the ATP Finals (Turin), and weekly ATP/WTA tour stops across six continents. The Grand Slam season runs from January (Australian Open) to September (US Open), with the European clay swing (Monte-Carlo, Madrid, Rome, French Open) bridging March to June, the grass-court swing (Wimbledon, Eastbourne, Queen's) covering June-July, and the North American hard-court swing (Cincinnati, US Open) running August-September. Anyseats lists verified tennis tickets for every Grand Slam session, Centre Court / Arthur Ashe Stadium / Rod Laver Arena evening sessions, and ground passes for outside courts.

How Grand Slam ticketing works

Each Grand Slam runs over 14 days (Monday Week 1 through Sunday Week 2. A final-only Sunday). Sessions are organised by stadium: a single ticket grants access to one specific session at one specific stadium. Ground passes give you access to all the outside courts (3-12 depending on the Slam) for a single day, but NOT to Centre Court / Arthur Ashe / Philippe-Chatrier / Rod Laver Arena, those need separate session tickets. Day sessions typically run 11:00am-7:00pm; night sessions (US Open Arthur Ashe, Australian Open Rod Laver, French Open Philippe-Chatrier) run 7:00pm-late.

Which session to attend

Week 1 (Mon-Sun) covers first round through fourth round. Outside-court ground passes are exceptional value here as you can see 8-15 matches in a day, including top players in early rounds. Week 2 (Mon-Sun) covers quarter-finals (Mon-Tue), semi-finals (Wed-Fri), women's final (Sat), men's final (Sun); each session is a single match on a stadium court, premium pricing. Night sessions are typically 2 matches: a singles + a doubles, or two singles.

FAQ

Tennis ticket FAQs

  • How much do Wimbledon tickets cost?

Wimbledon Centre Court tickets range from £80 (early-round day sessions) to £400+ (men's final Sunday). No. 1 Court tickets range from £60-£250. Ground passes (outside courts only, no Centre Court access) run £30-£75 depending on the day. The Wimbledon ballot system (free entry into a public draw) allocates a portion of stadium tickets at face value; secondary-market tickets via Anyseats are a parallel option.

  • What's the difference between a session ticket and a ground pass at the US Open?

A US Open session ticket grants access to one specific session (day or night) at one specific stadium (typically Arthur Ashe, Louis Armstrong or Grandstand). A grounds pass grants access to all outside courts plus Court 17. But NOT to Arthur Ashe, for a single day. Grounds passes are excellent value during Week 1 when 8+ matches are simultaneously playable across the outside courts.

  • Which Grand Slam is the most prestigious?

All four Grand Slams are equal in ranking points (2,000 to the winner) and prize money, but Wimbledon is the most prestigious by players and by tennis media. Its grass-court tradition, all-white dress code, and 1877 founding give it unique stature in the sport.

  • Can I buy ATP Finals tickets?

Yes. The ATP Finals. The year-end championship featuring the 8 highest-ranked men's singles players and 8 doubles teams, are held annually at the Inalpi Arena in Turin (through 2026). Anyseats lists verified tickets for all single sessions and full-week packages.

  • When should I buy tennis tickets?

For Grand Slam Week 1 ground passes: 2-6 weeks ahead. For Grand Slam Week 2 stadium sessions: 8-16 weeks ahead. For finals (men's and women's): 12-26 weeks ahead. These are the highest-demand single tennis tickets globally. For ATP Masters 1000 events: 4-10 weeks ahead.
