About Wimbledon Tickets
About Wimbledon on Anyseats
The Championships, Wimbledon. Held annually at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club in southwest London, is the oldest tennis tournament in the world (founded 1877) and the only Grand Slam still played on grass. The fortnight runs from the last Monday in June through to the second Sunday in July, with 14 days of championship-grade tennis across Centre Court (14,979), No. 1 Court (12,345) and outside courts. The men's and women's finals are played on the second Sunday and Saturday of the tournament respectively. Wimbledon's all-white dress code, strawberries and cream tradition, and Royal Box presence make it the most ceremonially distinct of the four Grand Slams.

Wimbledon ticket types — what each covers
Centre Court and No. 1 Court session tickets cover all matches scheduled on that court for that day. Ground passes give access to all outside courts (3-12 depending on the day) for the full day, but NOT to Centre or No. 1 Courts. Day passes vs evening sessions: Wimbledon does not run dedicated evening sessions like the US Open or Australian Open; the day's last match on Centre Court can run into late evening, especially if the roof is closed.
