History
About San Marino Stadium
The stadium was built in 1969 and inaugurated the following year with a single covered stand, the Tribuna Sud. It was named Stadio Olimpico in 1985 for the first Games of the Small States of Europe, and the Tribuna Nord was added for the 2001 Games. A services tower funded by FIFA and UEFA opened in 2013, and on 2 September 2014 the ground was renamed San Marino Stadium. It hosted matches at the 2019 European Under-21 Championship.
