The City Ground Seating Plan
1,238 tickets listed across 5 stands and 15 upcoming fixtures. The cheapest seat averages £254.41, all fees included.
The City Ground holds 31,212 across 4 stands: Trent End and John Robertson Stand behind the goals, Brian Clough Stand and Peter Taylor Stand along the touchlines. Below is each stand in turn — where to sit, what you see and what it costs today — then the away end and the best seats for atmosphere, families and price.
Behind the goal
Trent End
The riverside end, rebuilt in the mid-1990s, with the club museum and two large screens added in 2024. Plans approved in September 2026, subject to a legal agreement, would fill in its corners; it is unchanged for this season.
The view: End-on from the goal nearest the River Trent.
Price: seats behind the goal from £200.85 today, all fees included.
Along the touchline
Brian Clough Stand
Opened in 1980 as the Executive Stand, with 36 executive boxes and the word FOREST spelt out in white seats in its upper tier. It is the most modern stand, with wider concourses and step-free access.
The view: Side-on, looking across at the Peter Taylor Stand.
Price: seats along the touchline from £267.80 today, all fees included.
Behind the goal · 2 tiers · Home and away
John Robertson Stand
The former Bridgford Stand, renamed after John Robertson in May 2026; its sloping roof was a planning condition to limit shadow on the houses of Colwick Road. Most of the ground's safe-standing places are here, in home blocks of both tiers as well as in the away section.
The view: End-on, facing the Trent End.
Price: seats behind the goal from £200.85 today, all fees included.
Along the touchline
Peter Taylor Stand
The former Main Stand, with hospitality lounges and executive boxes. Plans to demolish and rebuild it were backed by Rushcliffe Borough Council in September 2026, subject to a legal agreement, so it stays in use for now.
The view: Side-on, close to the touchline, facing the Brian Clough Stand.
Price: seats along the touchline from £267.80 today, all fees included.
The away end at The City Ground
Away supporters sit in the lower tier of the John Robertson Stand, where Block W is licensed safe standing for visiting fans. They enter through the away turnstiles at the John Robertson Stand.
Away-section tickets are listed from £206.17 today. They are for supporters of the visiting club.

FAQ
The City Ground seating FAQs
Which is the cheapest stand at The City Ground?
Shortside Lower Tier is the cheapest by typical price across the 15 home fixtures on sale — a median listing there sits well below the ground's priciest stand. Prices move as sellers list, so the map above is the live figure rather than a fixed price band.
Can I get away tickets at The City Ground?
Usually, yes — they are just harder to come by than home tickets. Clubs get a limited away allocation and sell it to members and season-ticket holders first, so less of it reaches resale. Visiting supporters are housed in the lower tier of the John Robertson Stand, the former Bridgford Stand, including licensed standing in Block W.
Are there restricted-view seats at The City Ground?
Like any bowl this size, some seats have a pillar, a rail or a gantry in the way. Where a seller flags a listing as restricted view, we show it on the listing — so you can pick a normal seat instead, or take the restricted one, which is usually the cheaper way in.
How many fixtures do these prices cover?
15 upcoming home fixtures at The City Ground. Each stand's figure is drawn from every live listing across those fixtures, so it reflects the season rather than one match.
When will my tickets arrive?
Tickets usually arrive 24-72 hours before the event.
