History
About King Power at Den Dreef
The ground was known as the Leuvens Sportcentrum until Oud-Heverlee Leuven were formed in 2002 and renamed it Den Dreef. At that time a running track surrounded the pitch, with a seated main stand on one side, a covered standing terrace on the other and open standing in both curves. New covered stands were later built on top of the track behind both goals. The main stand was extended in 2011 and 2012, taking capacity to 9,493, and in December 2015 the stand opposite was demolished and replaced by a stand with skyboxes, media facilities and dressing rooms, in use since 2016–17, which made the ground all-seated with a capacity of 10,020. Since 2017 it has carried the King Power name for sponsorship.
