Hong Kong China's men's national rugby union team is run by Hong Kong China Rugby, founded in 1952 as the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union. The side qualified for a Rugby World Cup for the first time by winning the 2025 Asia Rugby Championship, sealed with a 70-22 win over Korea in Incheon, and becomes only the second Asian men's team after Japan to reach the tournament. At RWC 2027 they play Australia in the opening match in Perth, with New Zealand and Chile also in Pool A.
